Mass Effect’s Pinnacle Station DLC won’t be in the Legendary Edition because its source code was lost

The series will include more than 40 DPS in the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, but it is still in all the original DS packs. Since Mass Effect 3’s remaster is leaving multiplayer mode, the corresponding dellet is going left. And so Pinnacle Station is an add-on to the first major impact.

Pinnacle Station was originally developed by a third-party studio called Demiurge. It added a training facility filled with holographic combat scenarios, and is generally considered very satisfactory. It was left out of the PS3 version of Mass Effect as the source code was lost, but when the game was remaked for the legendary version, BioWare apparently reached out to everyone, so they could track it down.

When a backup of the code was finally detected, it became corrupt. While it would be possible to recreate the Pinnacle station, it was decided that the effort would not be worth it.

“It would basically take us another six months, much of which to do with the team,” game director Mac Walters told Game Informer. “I wish we were able to do that. Honestly, just because it’s everything the team had ever created has brought it back together – all the signelaire content. And so, leaving all this on the cutting-room floor, It was heartbreaking. ”

It is a shame, but the Shikhar station was extremely forgetful. At least Mass Effect 3’s free-favorite stronghold expansion will definitely be part of the legendary version.

This kind of thing is more common than you think. He said that in X-ray 2019 Max Shaffer revealed, “Diablo 2 is one of the most notable proximity.” Not only our code, but all our assets. Although they were able to contain some of it, the property that remains missing makes the rumors of Diablo 2 harder to remake.
